Thank you to all of you who came out to AlumNight 2011! With a grand total of 92 attendees, including 38 AIESEC alumni, it was a huge success! We held AlumNight at the Kingston Taphouse & Grill for the second year in a row on November 23rd. It was a casual event designed to let alumni reconnect, as well as mingle with our current members. With a wide selection of food and drinks, coupled with the stories shared, there were many talks and laughs heard throughout the night. The night started off with some encouraging words from Brian Fingler, an alumni from AIESEC Manitoba. As the night continued, we also heard from FS Financial and the SFU Alumni Association. To end the night, we received updates on AIESEC Canada from our President, Peter Gallivan, and LC updates from Alex Juy (LCP AIESEC SFU) and Josh Sunga (LCP AIESEC UBC). None of this would have been possible if it was not for the generous donations made by the SFU Alumni Association and FS Financial. Thank you for supporting AlumNight 2011 and AIESEC! Of course, there was also a hard working group of AIESECers running things backstage! I would like to give a huge thank you my Organizing Committee members, Gurpreet Sadhra, Kevin Too, Jeannie Tse and Grace Yang. They put a lot of effort into creating this event and I am happy to see that their hard work has paid off. To the alumni, thank you so much for your continued support. I hope you are proud to see how AIESEC has progressed since you were an active member, and see how far it can take its members.
